Stalling bike

I have an 04 Midnight Venture and the issue I am having is, while riding my bike would shut down. still have all my lights, bike will turn over fine but wont start. I turn the key off once or twice turn it back on then it starts. Then good for a few then it does it again. Happens when I fuel up too. have to wait a while for it to catch. I am not happy camper pushing my bike 6 miles to home. She is heavy and gave me a workout. I have just had complete service at shop. new plugs new fuel filter charging system is fine. I am not sure what is happening so any information would be helpful.

Try opening gas cap when it stops if it sucks in air then you have a pluged vent to gas tank

Are you sure they actually changed the fuel filter? Or did they simply blow it out.....

Fuel pump may be failing. My 08 rstd did the say thing. Found out it was the fuel pump. Luckily it was under warranty.
