hubbsfd Posted July 31, 2013 #3 Posted July 31, 2013 Not sure what to make of these two posts so I have not comment directly on them. I do want to say. I graduated form Jeff City High. I was there during the Pete Atkins reign of terror. 16 years Jeff City Jays were undefeated and held the national record. Lots of pride in having attended such a great school and participated in a great sports and music program. I was the romantic male lead in the much acclaimed musicals produced every year by Mr. Carl Burkel two years in a row my Junior and Senior years. I hear they still do them. My sister had the female lead two years in a row just one year off my performances since she was two years ahead of me. I can remember hearing people asking if there were any more of my family in the wings so someone else could have a chance at a lead role. Oh well, we all moved away after I graduated so I'm sure those who wanted it were relieved since they could have a chance. If your old enough you know us if not disregard this post as a someone who once lived in a most wonderful time in a wonderful place. All my spare time was spent at Bagnel Dam area. Lake of the Ozarks is still the standard I measure all lake experiences by. One day I'll return and bring my children to see the great state of misery as we lovingly referred to it during high school. Good luck on your journey.
