I took a hit for the team today/FL Gunboat M&E

As you know we are having our Florida Gunboat M&E August 31st in Titusville FL. Usually I dont recommend a restaurant until I have tried it. Steve K recommended it and while I trust him immensely I felt that I had to make the hard sacrifice and try it for myself, er, I mean the club.......So, after a trip to DeLand we headed to Titusville to make the ultimate in sacrifices. We arrived to a very nice sized parking lot. As we walked into the building there was a great outside waiting/seating area where there was a stocked pond flowing underneath. Good place to shoot the breeze afterwards. Inside was spacious with various rooms where we could have some privacy. Tables were spaced out as well, not giving off a cramped feel. Chairs were comfy, bathrooms were clean as was the whole place. Food was excellent. Wait staff was good too. Met all of my criteria for a M&E......so, lets get this show going. 1 month away. Lets try to pack the house.

Had the Prime rib, sweet potato and steamed broccoli. Jean had the rack of ribs. I know, its a seafood house but I cant eat some of that stuff since I started eating "clean". Prime rib was excellent and they gave a good portion too. Seafood at the other tables looked real good. Steve, I decided to go there last minute from DeLand and I didnt have your # otherwise I would have called you to meet up.

Would have loved to join you, but was probably working when you went thru the area , so no harm no foul, see you in few weeks. Glad to hear you enjoyed the place, we do not get down there often enough.

Some friends of mine who ride a GW and lute classic usually take wing group rides that way. They brag about the food and ride from Tampa. So by all accounts we have ourselves a winner...
