Peder_y2k Posted July 28, 2013 #3 Posted July 28, 2013 I think it looks great the way it is. For my '88VR, I chose to take the vent assembly off completely to aid engine cooling. In my region of the country, high temps are moderate, so I have no complaint of excessive heat. On colder days, the heat is welcome on my legs. -Pete, in Tacoma WA USA
Flyinfool Posted July 28, 2013 #4 Posted July 28, 2013 It sure will look good. But on those warm days it lets you have a lot of extra heat. I notice a huge difference between the vents open and closed.

Huggy Posted July 28, 2013 Author #6 Posted July 28, 2013 I'm going to give it a try and see how it works. Flat black or not, have to think about it. My problem is I'm a sticker for keeping thing LOOKING original. Don't know why, just am!
