Looking like I'll have the Road Glide ready to head to Galena. Luggage rack, highway pegs, backrest, saddle bag guards, passenger grab rails, Bushtec hitch and trailer wiring....all done.

If I knew you were taking the Harley I would have made other plans

Don't be slowing us down now

Messing with ya

I cant wait to see it and we are looking forward to ridding out with you all

Well, I do have to watch it a bit because I'm still in the break in procedure. I need to keep it under around 3000 RPM so that limits us to about 80 MPH. By the time we head back, I should be past the break in period though. :)

Don, just a thought. Doesn't pulling a trailer void the warranty on that beautiful new ride?

Might wanna hide that trailer hitch if you hafta take it in for service.

Congrats. It's beautiful.

According to my brother, the Harley Freak, towing a trailer with a Harley is a BIG NO NO!!!:no-no-no: He even had a fit when I told him my VR came with a hitch!:backinmyday:

My Edset cords came yesterday so I'm OK now.

As for pulling a trailer? It's pretty much the same as the Venture. Yamaha really doesn't recommend pulling a trailer either but some dealers look the other way. Harley is the same way. I talked to the dealer about it yesterday when I picked up the saddle bag guards. He told me that they are pretty lenient about such things. Not to worry.

Wonder if they are "lenient" like Honda is...they are lenient until you request any warranty service that they can possibly attribute to the miniscule possibility of pulling a trailer. Then they try to wiggle out of it using that excuse.

I will miss all you guys ! Was trying everything to go but job is new and can't get time off. Have fun and know we are blessed to have such good friends here...

We can facetime the folks that can't be with us, or you can just be with us in spirits . . .

Hey Don I've been watching other Harley's that we pass and thought you

might want to let Eileen in on something. Seems that the waving is the passengers job on a Harley. I'm making the assumption that this is due to the fear of taking ones hand off the handlebars. :whistling:

I know I'm in the corner now. It's ok we've decided to renovate the corner since it's getting so crowded. It's gonna be really nice in the corner now folks. Be more like a party room. :)

Hey Don you can take the badges off the gas tank and put Venture badges on. Then it will not look so strange that the owner of a Venture forum is riding a Harley. Maybe you could rename the VentureRiders to YamaDavidson. :whistling:

Srs it is a nice looking Harley. I learned Srs (serious) from my sons Facebook remarls. I like that model a lot. :thumbsup2:
