Yep I need to replace the antennas on the 86 RV. Actually its only has the CB one and its broke.:stickpoke: Anyway what are good replacements for them?

My list is getting bigger!:whistling: That's what happens when you are waiting for parts!:backinmyday::mytruck1:

Look at the Marshall mod. You replace the one poor Yamaha antenna with two separate ones. You eliminate the splitter and improve the performance of the CB. You'll have better ability to match the antenna to the CB with an SWR meter.

Good luck to you!!

Wizard could you give me the name of the shop? I may be going up to the airport to bet some stuff for fixing cracks in my plastics this weekend.:backinmyday:

Drop in on any of the major truck stops like the fifth wheel or Husky. Most have a big selection of CB antennas and hardware.

I know the fifth wheels at Milton and Grimsby carry a big selection. I am not sure how much the one at Dorchester carry's but it should and I believe it is a bit closer to Turkey point

Yes it is. But we do travel east more than west so it's kind of, half a dozen of one and six of the other, as to which one I go to.:backinmyday:
