When changing plugs on an RSV, make sure you reinstall the plug wire before reinstalling the dog bone, especially on the right side...

 

I am guessing the left side went better??

Hell at my age I still triple check everything when working on cars or puters (haven't changed the plugs yet on the Venture) age isn't an excuse! lol

As we become more seasoned (or is that senile?) we find new and better ways of messing up!

 

Just as I took the dogbone off the left side it dawned on me that I didn't put the plug wire on before putting the dogbone back on the right side, so I had to take it off again which also requires removing the rear brake master cylinder resovoir as well. Only one extra bolt to do that.

 

No wonder it seems to take longer to do things these days...:fiddle:

When I do stuff like that I just tell people I'm tinkering!:backinmyday: I don't need to give them anymore reasons to send me off to the HOME!!!!!:whistling:
