syscrusher Posted July 24, 2013 Share #1 Posted July 24, 2013 I just wondered if others have installed the HH and considered it quite an upgrade. I am not liking the linked brakes very well and will probably be installing one of Skydoc's unlinking kits soon. I have a sloping driveway and just a right side front brake is inadequate when I'm backing the VR down the drive. Also when I'm riding, because of the cramped legs I want to have as much braking as possible available to my quick hand rather than my slow foot that often flounders under the edge of the brake pedal rather than pushing down on it. This only for a moment, but it makes me sooooo much less able to bring it to a stop than if I could just squeeze. My hand never misses the hand brake - never. CaptainJoe Posted July 24, 2013 Share #2 Posted July 24, 2013 Just installed the double sintered brakes on the front and the kevlar brake pads on the back from earl aka Skydoc Quite the difference. Rear isn't near as grabby, and, the front feels like they are stonger braking. As a plus, your rotors won't glaze and you dont need the SS piece on inside of front brake pads, As these pads won't squeal. :mo money:Money well spent! cimmer Posted July 24, 2013 Share #3 Posted July 24, 2013 I have had the HH on my bike for a couple of years now.. very good stopping power and I am very happy with them. I also upgraded brake hoses and rebuilt all of the calipers and master cylinders at the same time. Rick F
stroker ace Posted July 24, 2013 Share #4 Posted July 24, 2013 I'm not sure I would call it a upgrade but the HH pads are a noticeable improvement over the stock pads.
