Question about backrest

I need to replace the current drivers backrest with one that pops on and off.....the Queen swings her right leg around over my seat to slide off the bike when she dismounts, and so needs a backrest that can be moved out of the way. The one I currently have in the kind that is on the frame rail....it tips forward but just not far enough out of the way.......can anyone direct me to who makes that style for the RSV?

Not sure how the Mustang mounts for a RSV. The one I have on mine is a Utopia. It swings forward and down into the drivers seat. It does stick up some. Heres an idea. What if you got a slightly longer bolt and drilled the end so you could put an "R" clip thru it. Then you could simply pull the pin, remove bolt and backrest is out of way. Certianly not the pull out but its probably a couply hundred cheaper.

Utopia. Nancy does the same thing getting off the bike. She pushes forward on the driver backrest and if folds over, then she swings off the bike.

I have a mustang studded seat with pull out drivers backrest that also folds flat.

Don't know if this will help but I just layed my Midnight Venture down and I have the Utopia backrest for sale. Also the Dyna 3000 ignition is for sale.

I use the Diamond R backrest. It mounts to the screws that hold the passenger seat in place. It swings down pretty flat. Check it out.

Utopia backrest on my RSTD folds very flat..

Thats how I mount the bike, then fold it up behind me..

not sure if it folds down less on a RSV
