Thank you to Carl for helping me change fluids and check my brake pads. Wanted to make sure my pads would be good for our trip West next week.

My brake fluids didn't appear to have darkened thru the site glass but my clutch fluid had started to change colour at the start of the season. Bike is 3 years old and hadn't done them yet. After doing the replacement of the fluids the brakes definitely have more "bite" to them.

Carl had helped me change my rear pads a year ago and still have plenty of pad left for this year's trip. Front pads are still thick and are original with 44,000km.

I know it is recommended to change the fluids every 2 years and I'm sure I'm not the only one to put it off... but from this experience, I'd definitely be in the group to recommend doing it every 2 years.
