Black wing Posted July 19, 2013 #1 Posted July 19, 2013 ok so im doing my valves and the rear cylinders have a nice sweet spot where both lobes point up, but the front cylinders only have either point outward or inward then one goes down while the other goes up. the timing holes seem to be 180 degrees the wrong way. can that be right? would the bike ever run, i know the front cylinders always stayed cool untill 3000 rpm or so. dosent make much sense to me ive rotated the engine 6-7 times and those are the only positions i get
Black wing Posted July 19, 2013 Author #2 Posted July 19, 2013 crisis averted was looking at the wrong timing marks. one of those brain farts that come with doing a valve job at 3 in the morning
