djh3 Posted July 18, 2013 #11 Posted July 18, 2013 To me the trim thats on my gas tank ridge looks like what we use to call door welting I think. I know my 900 Kawasaki I used the "black chrome" door knock trim stuff.

XV1100SE.....sounds like a great idea.....I'm heading to the cottage for a much needed week of R & R.....that's Reiny & Rum.....next weekend so anything after that works for me.
