Bert2006 Posted July 17, 2013 #1 Posted July 17, 2013 (edited) Just installed Bikevis LED Bullets on front on bike. Wanted something to catch the attention of cagers here as they are prone to cut you off. They even cut off transports without hesitation so bikers need all the help we can get. Made bracket to attach to front side reflectors and tied them into the wires for the fog/running lights. Used 2 on each side. Seem to make a difference as it is causing cagers to take a second look. Still need to be vigilant though. Will be installing similar bullets to the rear (red) so that they work in sink with brake light. Edited March 12, 2016 by Bert2006

cimmer Posted July 18, 2013 #4 Posted July 18, 2013 I just installed a pair on my 89 VR. I ended up mounting them on top of the vents on each side of the fairing. I also got their flasher for the lights that make them twinkle. I have taken one trip with them and they seem to get the attention of the cagers. I plan on posting some pics and video when I get a chance. Rick F.
RedRider Posted February 27, 2014 #5 Posted February 27, 2014 Mine are HID's from Martin Fabrication. Mount to an extended bolt that attaches the front fender to the forks. The headlight is also HID. Will try to get some pictures of the mount tonight. RR

HalLootsinator Posted February 28, 2014 #10 Posted February 28, 2014 The lights I mounted on the lower/outer corner seem to work for me. If these scrape the pavement on a turn the bike is on it's way down. My foot pegs and floorboards catch the bike if it tips over. I used a separate circuit straight off the battery through a 7.5 amp fuse energized by a separate 20 amp rocker switch thus isolating the circuit from the bike's electrical system. I did not want lights mounted on the forks as they jump around on our back Florida roads. My only future change would be to LED's but not sure if they would adequately illuminate the close-proximity roadway. I really appreciate all of the input you guys provide. Alot of creative ingenuity is available on this forum.
