Condor Posted July 17, 2013 #1 Posted July 17, 2013 Does anyone know the screw size holding the pitcock and sender unit to the tank?? I'm just lazy and thought I'd ask before pulling the old tank off the bike. Thought I'd go with hex head cap screws instead of philips. The OEM tank is rusted internally... my bad...so I picked up another mint tank off eBay to replace it...'cause I'm lazy.. I'll deal with striping the OEM later... Going to give Metal Rescue a try.

Here is what 2003 RSV tank has: Level sensor is a 5mm x 0.8 x 12mm long - 7mm wrench on hex head with large flat washer. Petcock is a 6mm x 1.0, don't have a screw to measure for length. Guess about 16mm long. Nothing in way on inside of tank that would interfere with longer screw. Gary
