My Brake lights are always on. Any Idea what would cause this?

My Brake lights are always on. Any Idea what would cause this?

 

I am not a "wrench" but pretty good guess would be either the front brake light switch is jammed or the rear brake light switch is jammed. Try disconnecting the easier one to trace and disconnect it. right at the switch if possible. should be obvious at that point.

0nce again this sight saves me It was the back brake switch. It was corroded up pretty bad. I went to search and found what should be the problem. Then to 1st gen tech library and found how to take it apart and clean the brake switches. It ended up being the back brake switch but I cleaned them both. Thanks Dingy for such a great write up with plenty of close up pictures . I love this sight.
