Twinkies are BACK !!!

There was a big stack of Hostess Twinkies 10-packs next to the checkout aisle at Walmart today.

 

Apparently the Hostess Brands is back in full operation. Http:\\hostessCakes.com

 

I knew everyone would want to stock up....

 

I don't think Walmart carried Hostess previously.

Yep, they did. Over the last few years WW and reduced their Hostess displays dramtically due to the poor supply of products available to the stores. They would promote sales on certain items then not receive enough product to keep the shelves filled for the duration of the sales ads.

 

WW does not like to have empty shelves. They will fill them with other product as fast as they can. That's just business sense.

 

Kind of shot themselve in the foot with WW and customers alike. Wasn't just WW either. Common problem at many of the retailers.

 

Looks like WW will be the only outlet for the time being. Not seeing anything happening with other retailers around this area as of yet.

 

Curious to see how this all pans out.

I've got two twinkies. One on my Vmax and one on my RSV.

The new Hostess may have made a fatal mistake.

 

They changed the Twinkies, they are now smaller than they were a year ago. They are now tiny, but the price is higher to compensate.

 

This is not the way to make a comeback.

 

I do not like my junk food being rationed.
