93 venture Posted July 13, 2013 #1 Posted July 13, 2013 Anyone have a good picture of the idle mixture screws? on a 2nd gen.
RSTDdog Posted July 14, 2013 #2 Posted July 14, 2013 Don't have a picture, but from the factory they are capped. If the caps are still on you won't see them, just the plugs that cover them up.
Kirby Posted July 14, 2013 #3 Posted July 14, 2013 This is a picture taken by someone on this site while showing how to remove the carburetors. The carbs are shown from the bottom side. It only shows 3 but you should be able to see the other one on the last carb. The brass caps cover the idle mixture screws. Just pry off the brass caps if they are still in place. Don't bother trying to put them back on.

RSTDdog Posted July 16, 2013 #7 Posted July 16, 2013 Also check for air leaks, like the little rubber caps on the sync ports are know to crack with age, be sure your muffler clamps are tight, check collector y's on either side, check carb sync,

I plugged the AIS , It didn't change anything, my exhaust wont hold pressure, it will have to wait until after the IR. I will just have to hear them pipes crackle a little longer.
