WONT THIS MAKE A MESS my last tire that got. cut. it has some cupping on the left side ...new tire did fix my vibration, I have rebuilt everything else,,, forks on front only dive about 2 inches at a hard brake ,, dont bottom out no where and my air ride holds 7 lbs, after 4 weeks with the controller unhooked ,, in the garage dont leak no where ,stays nice and clean after 4 or 5 tanks of gas in a days time aint real sure i even need to mess with it.. old tire was mr/90-18 new tire is 404 dunlop 120/90-18 it is definetly more rideable...back is now 2 or 3 months and it is a 401 i ride alone so. mostly .i am ok. does get squirrelly on the red mud after rain should i leave it alone?? I AM FIXING TO DEPEND ON IT ..FAR FAR AWAY BOUGHT IT USED IN FEB..
Condor Posted July 10, 2013 #2 Posted July 10, 2013 My CLASS never read below 7lb.psi. Sea level is 15lb.psi That's what it read when I drained the forks before installing a set of Progressives. Never got a drop on me....

Yes it will make a mess with 7 lbs of air in it, before you drain the fork oil make sure all the air is released. Your last statement should tell you what you probably should do. If it's a new to you bike, and you dont know the exact maintenance on the bike, then I would put fresh fork oil in it. This way you have a base of when it was done and you dont have to be concerned when you really want to "depend" on it down the road.....
