Can I still ride with blown rear shock?

I tell you what. I understand that things do happen that we have no control over. If you want to borrow my shock, I will not hold you responsible in any way if something happens to it. Now that's the best I can do. I'll even pay shipping to you. You just pay return shipping when you send it back. If it were to blow, you can just throw it away. I wouldn't need a blown shock returned.

I think I am going to take you up on your offer. I got another email from Hagon saying that the springs they use for the uprated shocks were on back order. They are supposedly available now and it may not be as long as expected now. I guess we will see. Getting ready to order it now.

 

I might still go look at the Vstroms as they are a hell of a deal for the price. $10K for a new bike and that is with side bags and going with a 6 year unlimited mileage warranty. Not sure I would be happy with that as my only bike though. Being 6'4" and pretty hefty (read fat), the RSV just fits me perfectly. And to me it handles great when everything is in working order. AT times I ride it as hard as I did my Kawasaki Concours when I had it.

I agree!! I have been to one meet and eat here in VA and met some great people and had a great time. I look forward to coming years and more events especially Don's MD next year.

New Hagon shock is on and all I have to say is damn. Just fell in love with the bike all over. It honestly rides better now than my Concours (c10) sport tourer. It is amazing the difference. For anybody on the fence about a new Hagon, I would say well worth the cost. The only downfall would be waiting for it to be built and delivered. Luckily they had one in stock and I had it in less than a week.
