OrlinEngh Posted July 6, 2013 #1 Posted July 6, 2013 Its a 87 Venture, Runs good, starts good, whats not working no turn signals, no brake light, no tack, no volt meter and the I get nothing to read out on the screen no warning lights nothing. Now here comes the part of:confused24::confused24: If you put it in gear with the kick stand down the tack works and it will go threw the system check and not shut off, but still no turn signals, brake lights or volt meter. And if you take it out if gear the screen shows nothing on it and no tack. All of the fuzes are good tryed a diffrent interment pannel that I know is good tryed the one that was in it on the other bike and its is good. Switched relays around. Also tryed a diffrent TCI no luck, Orlin
Sylvester Posted July 6, 2013 #2 Posted July 6, 2013 I wish I could help you but your bike is too old for my knowledge. Hell, the 2002 I have is too old for my knowledge.
dingy Posted July 6, 2013 #3 Posted July 6, 2013 My bet is a bad ground connection. This connection could be inside the wire harness cover also. There are many unseen splices. You might try attaching a direct ground to the instrument panel and see if any difference Attached shows a VMax schematic with a well known crimp problem in the VMax. Gary

OrlinEngh Posted July 9, 2013 Author #5 Posted July 9, 2013 I found the problerm:cool10: it was the wire for the signal coming out of the fuze box, I had power to the box but no power coming out Of course I didnt find it untill I removed the farring but now all of my connections are clean and as long as I am at it I am goint to do the fuze block up grade. tufftom4 Posted July 9, 2013 #6 Posted July 9, 2013 I gave Lewis a new fusebox from Skydoc to sell for St Judes see if you can get it. Tom
