frodotoo Posted July 6, 2013 #1 Posted July 6, 2013 SO, today I was spending some time trying to fit my newly purchased WOLO on my bike, (which I managed to do, but not real happy with how it fits in the old horn spot). I removed both pos & neg screws and when I had it all laid out properly, I went to reattach all the terminals. My pigtail for my battery buddy disappeared. Gone, poof!! I checked everywhere I could see or reach and it's nowhere to be found. I went to the gas station and filled up and then retraced my ride hoping that maybe it could have fallen thru the "cracks" somehow, but no it's gone:confused24: I've got my gremling bell prominently mounted, but I think I hear them laughing :rasberry: at it.
pmelah Posted July 6, 2013 #2 Posted July 6, 2013 no thats boomers pygmies they dont care about gremlin bells they laugh at them :whistling::whistling:
Phoneman1981 Posted July 6, 2013 #3 Posted July 6, 2013 I hate it when things like that happen. You gave me a chuckle!! Take care..
JohnT Posted July 6, 2013 #4 Posted July 6, 2013 Awhile back I noticed that the rubber trim on the right side of my dash (between the instrument cluster and the right speaker) was POOF! It was there when I left the house but gone on my way home. I was running speaker wire a while ago and as I was trying to get the wire for the new RF speaker I felt a gasket dislodged from (I thought) the inner fairing. Great, I will NEVER get it back in place without removing the fairing. So I pulled it out so as to not lose it. Yup, the instrument trim had fallen out while riding that day and lodged in the depths of the fairing. Had I not opted for 4 speakers in the dash it still would be lost. It will get a dab of silicone when I reinstall it.
XV1100SE Posted July 6, 2013 #5 Posted July 6, 2013 ... not real happy with how it fits in the old horn spot... Larry (Carbon One) makes a bracket and wiring harness that makes it easy and looks good !
Huggy Posted July 6, 2013 #6 Posted July 6, 2013 (edited) I have a Gremlin that keeps stealing my copper washers for my clutch line. Every time I turn around he steals another one. He's got two today and I've had to stop working on it until my new ones come in! Damn Gremlin's!! Guess what I just found out that Gremlins must be afraid of my wife! She came out to help me find the missing parts and guess what. She found them right where them Gremlins dropped them when they saw her coming! I know it was the Gremlins because I was nowhere near that part of the garage when they disappeared. Edited July 6, 2013 by Huggy Gremlin update
