VR gremlin bell isn't working. maybe its under warranty...the bell, that is...anyhow...right blinker makes a clicking sound near front of fairing. probably one of the many unmarked relays....left rear blinker works fine. any help? thanks in advance. RDM. AND before someone says it...blinker fluid is full!
Prairiehammer Posted July 3, 2013 #2 Posted July 3, 2013 Out of the four turn indicators, just the right rear fails to flash? I would check that right rear turn signal bulb. But that is just me.
reddevilmedic Posted July 3, 2013 Author #3 Posted July 3, 2013 not the bulb. I switched the bulbs around to be sure. its the entire right side of bike. but, front running lamp is lit..
Prairiehammer Posted July 3, 2013 #4 Posted July 3, 2013 its the entire right side of bike. Well, there are only two lights to flash on the "entire right side of bike". So, it's NOT just the right rear. It's ALSO the right front not flashing. When you put the Hazard flasher switch to ON, what lights flash?
reddevilmedic Posted July 3, 2013 Author #5 Posted July 3, 2013 started messin with this...pic below. and they started working again!
Prairiehammer Posted July 3, 2013 #6 Posted July 3, 2013 started messin with this... "this" is the turn signal flasher relay.

Prairiehammer Posted July 3, 2013 #8 Posted July 3, 2013 can I replace it with a inexpensive 2 prong..i know I will lose self cancelling feature...right? Yes. And yes. Note: if you hook it up wrong you will blow a fuse. Have some spares?
ragtop69gs Posted July 4, 2013 #10 Posted July 4, 2013 Add a little SEAFOAM to your blinker fluid !:rotfl:
