Can I get in trouble??

Alright I know I don't have any trouble getting into trouble!!!But got a call from some dip about my computer I think. You know the way these idiots go. I told him not to worry about my F******* computer and to call back when he could speak English. Are there laws about cursing these retards?? Just wondering..

If there were such laws, I'd be in a lot of trouble by now. The way I see it, since they call without our requesting it and they are trying to scam us then pretty much anything we say is OK. If they don't like being yelled at or sworn at, then they shouldn't be trying to rip us off - which is exactly what calls like that are about. So - enjoy!!

I just got the same call, told him is was so full of it I was surprised he did not explode. I am sure he was cussing me out but I could not understand a word he was saying.

I usually just put them on hold. I tell them "hold on I'll be right with you. And I lay the phone down. Then I try to keep them on the line as long as possible. I pick up the every couple of minutes with "hi dummy you still there? Just another minute longer. I'll be right with you". Lots of fun. We used to get obscene phone calls from time to time until I discovered this technique. They never have a chance to say anything. They finally just give up and hang up. We don't get those calls anymore. But there seems to be no end to telemarketers.

I usually remain civil with the average telemarketer. They are, after all, only doing their job and these days in some areas (Like this one!), it's the only job they can get. But ... some smaller outfits encourage their people to get very pushy or rude. Those I treat as they deserve. As for those phony calls telling me I have a computer problem, well... that's a straight scam and they get both barrels directly in the face, so to speak. I hate thieves, bullies and con artists and don't feel the least bit guilty in reaming them out but good.

It has been my experience if you need to ask if you could get in trouble for something you did or said you probably already are!!!!

I stay in trouble somewhere all the time. I've told them off before but I really lit into this one!! He just called at the right time. I'm not too worried about it. What could they do??Block my Tele-Marketer calls?
