frankc Posted June 28, 2013 #1 Posted June 28, 2013 Hello, It seems this year my trip odometers and clock dont hold their setting after the bike is turned off. They work perfect while the bike is running. Is there a ram battery I need to replace to get the information to stay? Thanks Frank
V7Goose Posted June 28, 2013 #2 Posted June 28, 2013 I have no idea what bike you have, but if it is a 2nd gen, the problem is your backup fuse is blown. Depending on the year, some owners manuals use a different name for it, but most call it the backup fuse. It is in the main fuse box behind the left side battery cover. Goose
darthandy Posted June 28, 2013 #3 Posted June 28, 2013 If the battery is in good condition ten check the connections to it. My 2nd gen was losing the trip meter and clock info and it turned out to be a loose ground wire connection at the battery. Andy
