i found a 99 RSV at a yamy dealer in Laurel i been watching it for a while now they are asking 6k for it i haven't checked it out in person due to the major lack of funds but now that i will be back to work soon i started looking at KBB which list it for retail at 4885.00 NADA list average 6325.00 low retail 4770.00 its got 48k on the clock any thoughts on this when i do check it in person i will check how long its been sitting tires brakes and stuff the normal things anything else i might need to check :confused24:

That's basically the same condition as my '99RSV... same milage, and all the maintenence records. Paid private party $4100 almost 3 years ago with a ton of bling added by the previous owner. It did need a new set of tires @ $300. So together....$4500 with the registration...

Paul, Theres likely nothing wrong with it we can't fix. At that price a test run is needed though. I'll be glad to check it out with you when that time comes:thumbsup:.

Let me know too. If it is still there in Oct, he may be willing to about give it to ya!!! Lets hope that turns out to be the case.

I bought my '99 in Sept 2009, with only 16,000 miles on the clock. Had been wrecked and repaired, some bling, and I paid only $4500.00. :cool10:

Hey Walter thats what im hoping for to steel it at 4500. or less I will let you know when I go I plan on taking cash in as the saying goes money talks bull hockey walks I doesnt rhyme but work and the more people I bring that know about the bike the better then they cant try to pull a fast one not saying they would but I dont want to walk in with sucker painted on my forhead :whistling: :rotf:
