saddlebum Posted June 21, 2013 #6 Posted June 21, 2013 (edited) ,I discovered by accident one day when I ran out of cutting oil, while drilling tool steel. A can of WD40 happen to be standing there so I tried it it as a substitute. Not only did it work but worked better than the cutting oil (Kool Tool) I was using before I ran out. I actually had to re-sharpen the drill bit 90% less often than when using the Kool Tool and it cut better. Edited June 21, 2013 by saddlebum
abusive throttle cranker Posted June 21, 2013 #7 Posted June 21, 2013 I discovered (as a teenager) that it makes a great machine gun to shoot down flies. My dad whooped my azz for that lol. The basement was a mess.
Condor Posted June 21, 2013 #8 Posted June 21, 2013 I discovered (as a teenager) that it makes a great machine gun to shoot down flies. My dad whooped my azz for that lol. The basement was a mess. It makes a dandy starting fluid for a diesel engine......
Goose68 Posted June 21, 2013 #9 Posted June 21, 2013 It also works great at removing tar off of your vehicle
Prairiehammer Posted June 21, 2013 #10 Posted June 21, 2013 It works really, really well for making the black crinkle painted cylinders and heads on my Z1R black again after a wash. Smells good too, when the engine gets warm.
Drreb Posted June 22, 2013 #11 Posted June 22, 2013 Man that stuff is almost as good as duct tape....
