Installed a set of bubs last night. Now the question is should I rejet the carbs. A friend told me to run it 100 miles at Highway speeds and then look at the plugs, if their white in color it means she's running lean and I should rejet, if not should be OK. What do you think about that? And has anyone put on bubs and not rejetted and had zero problems?

I would not rejet. I have Krome werks on mine and have had samsons and all you NEED to do is do a VERY good carb sync. Mine runs VERY good without rejetting.

Don't worry about it. I ran the Krome Werks on mine for a couple of years and the plugs were fine. Some of the shops will tell you that you need to rejet... I wonder why?

I run Bubs on mine and I did not re-jet......I have not had a problem. I had it put on a dyno and it shows it to be lean at idle and a little rich at higher RPMs. The Tech that was on the dyno said he would not mess with it.

I've had Bubs on mine since I bought it in 2002 - no rejetting. Runs great with no fouling of the plugs.

Don't waste your time or your money on rejetting. There are so many other items you can waste your money on.
