My cousin's husband is looking for a trike. Has to be a true trike , no outrigger types. He wants to spend in the neighborhood of 10K . If you hear of anything for sale please let me know. Wings, Ventures, Kawasaki's........ NO HD branded trikes.

Very few trikes out there for 10 grand. occasionally you can find an older RSV for around $14000.00 or a 90's Goldwing for around the same $$.

He can buy a brand new Ural sidecar bike for that, if he is not wanting it for 80 mph road trips, it might be what the doctor ordered.

For $1500 more than the base model he can get this one:

Otherwise, good luck finding a roadworthy trike for 10 grand.

This is a triwing kit. Jonesy can fill you in on this kit. He owns one that looks a lot like this one. Some one did butcher the rear exhaust pipes on this trike. They completely remove the rear chrome Y pipes. Don't know why. I have seen several Triwing kits with the stock Y pipes on. Looks kind of ugly with those black pipes on the rear cylinders.

Yea I saw that on the pipes too but the bike is within their budget and could be changed later back to stock probably. Tri-Wing kit on it as you say, same as I had on the 05 I had till last fall when it got "T" boned & totaled.

The 88 is a better deal. The 99 looks like a back yard butcher job. The 88 was probably installed by Motortrike. Motortrike is one of the top trike fabricators out there. They are darn near bullet proof. It probably has a Ford 7.5 in straight axle with 3.78 gears. The only problem, it probably doesn't have air suspension, just coil over shocks. So the ride maybe a little on the mushy side.

Thanks to everyone who's contributed, everything has been forwarded to Trent, the ball is now in his court, he likes the 88 and is trying to line up some financing to go with the cash he has on hand.

Thanks, One and all :thumbsup2:
