ragtop69gs Posted June 19, 2013 #1 Posted June 19, 2013 I just ordered a Michelin Commander II Rear Tire Size: 150/80B16 77H for the front of the trike. Looking forward to trying it out. Bought it from Revzilla.com for $134.17 shipped I found it $1.50 cheaper on amazon but they don't take paypal.

Since the commander II doesn't come in a front tire that size. Some ride the darkside so if you used a rear tire on the front of a Motorcycle would the Force be with you.
ragtop69gs Posted June 22, 2013 Author #7 Posted June 22, 2013 UPS dropped the tire off yesterday, a quick inspection shows a date code of (0213) it doesn't get much fresher than that. I have to give Revzilla.com 2 THUMBS UP for price, speed of delivery and fresh tire stock. I have the wheel off and going to get it mounted up now.

Freebird Posted June 23, 2013 #9 Posted June 23, 2013 Hot soap and dishwashing detergent would probably get most of it off but I don't worry about it. I just drive conservatively for about 50 miles or so and have never had a problem. On your trike, it shouldn't be a concern at all.

Only 5K on it. still looks new. OH WELL live and learn and yes the tire pressure has been correct . even turned it back around to see if it would level out. no go on that.
bongobobny Posted July 4, 2013 #11 Posted July 4, 2013 Yes, every time you turn on a trike it scuffs the tire as the rear end tries to push you straight forward, which leads to the cupping...
