Guest tx2sturgis Posted June 18, 2013 #1 Posted June 18, 2013 Mine was great...I took the Ural to the warehouse and showed it off...some UDF as per normal, and even took the new safety man, who is a woman, for a little ride in the sidecar. She commented that flying the chair with her in it, didn’t seem....'safe'!....but she enjoyed it and was smiling as she got out of the sidecar. All in all, a good day to ride to work.
SilvrT Posted June 18, 2013 #2 Posted June 18, 2013 No riding to work for me ... too many idiots heading into the city core, cost of parking is nutz and inconvenient, and my insurance doesn't cover me for to and from work. Rode the sky train as usual and snoozed for another 1/2 hour.
cowpuc Posted June 18, 2013 #3 Posted June 18, 2013 Hahahah,, thats awesome Brian!! When she stepped out of the hack you should have said " carnivals pay HUGE money for rides that produce that experience - and to think it came stock with my sweet little Ural". Puc
spike13 Posted June 18, 2013 #4 Posted June 18, 2013 60 miles each way first 20 minutes in the rain was a nice day for a ride
XV1100SE Posted June 18, 2013 #5 Posted June 18, 2013 I ride my RSV to work every day unless it is raining in the morning. Don't mind riding home in the rain but going to work is a little different. Ride to work is only 25 minutes for me. Like that I don't have to park in the main lot. Nice to know you have motorcycle spots waiting for you.
motorcycle_1300 Posted June 18, 2013 #6 Posted June 18, 2013 It was great Rode but not to work. Retired, no more looking out the window saying to myself I hope the weather holds till I get out of work Al
djh3 Posted June 18, 2013 #7 Posted June 18, 2013 Dont have to go to work until Thur. But I'll ride then. Howcome this date aint on the calendar like all these useless ones. Secratary day, nantional lepricon day and that junk invented to sell greeting cards.
dacheedah Posted June 18, 2013 #8 Posted June 18, 2013 Rode to work, it's not far, about 5 minutes each way. . .
etcswjoe Posted June 18, 2013 #9 Posted June 18, 2013 I rode and got wet, but after my trip last week I think I can handle a little rain.
