Stanman Posted June 17, 2013 #3 Posted June 17, 2013 Interesting technology, but at $2000 for a helmet I'll never own one. Mine are under $200.
Flyinfool Posted June 17, 2013 #4 Posted June 17, 2013 $1500 to preorder and they do not even have a working prototype yet....... :mo money:
86er Posted June 17, 2013 #5 Posted June 17, 2013 I'd be more interested in a model that would allow retro-fit. I ride with a 3/4 or 1/2 helmet. It would be nice to be able to move it from helmet to helmet.
Condor Posted June 17, 2013 #6 Posted June 17, 2013 I donno I've been doing pretty good with just the GPS. Besides I think having all that stuff going on in your field of vision would be very distracting while keeping your head on a swivel.... Kinda like texting and driving.....
Wade 2000 Posted June 17, 2013 #8 Posted June 17, 2013 I don't use GPS very often but I could see it being used to display mph, music selection, or incoming calls as well as GPS. Just like anything else the price tag will come down after its out a bit. That will be when I jump on it.
MikeWa Posted June 17, 2013 #9 Posted June 17, 2013 If you figure in the amount paid of a good motorcycle GPS, blue tooth, carbon fiber helmet with high quality speakers and microphone. The cost seems a little more realistic. Mike

Bluetoothed helmet couples to my Garmin c550, with GPS, MP3, and it is bluetoothed to my cell phone. I also have a media hard wire for both the '99 and '07 so I can use the bikes audio and CB. I got it all.... Ta-dah!!
cowpuc Posted June 18, 2013 #12 Posted June 18, 2013 Man I get distracted when my wife talks to me at the wrong time, my pea brain has all it can handle watching for people talking on cell phones and drunk drivers - thats way to advanced for this old guy.. Still living by the "KISS" concept.. Puc
