GeorgeS Posted February 16, 2008 #4 Posted February 16, 2008 OK, now go straight to the Garage, and FIX Something !!!!!
phonetrouble Posted March 18, 2015 #6 Posted March 18, 2015 Thanks for all the information that I have found so far! The website has been a treasure trove and I keep finding new links and knowledgeable people. What I was wondering as I haven't yet found this, are the torc settings for many of the components. Mainly the clutch right now as that is what I am working on. Is there a tech bulletin that I have missed?
Marcarl Posted March 18, 2015 #7 Posted March 18, 2015 It's towards the front if I remember correctly,, be careful, it's not much, something like 6 ftlbs or so.
Venturous Randy Posted March 18, 2015 #8 Posted March 18, 2015 Hey Shaggy, welcome to Venturerider and we hope you join us. It will be the best $12 you will ever spend on your bike. Randy
Peder_y2k Posted March 18, 2015 #9 Posted March 18, 2015 Just keep your wits about you as the manual has several important errors in it. Pete, in Tacoma WA USA
dna9656 Posted March 18, 2015 #10 Posted March 18, 2015 There is a torque chart in the manual that might have the figures you seek. A word on the FSM: It's OK on telling you WHAT; but short on telling you HOW.
snyper316 Posted July 23, 2016 #11 Posted July 23, 2016 How big is this manual lol I have 100mbs connection and its taken 10 minutes so far to load lol
dna9656 Posted July 23, 2016 #12 Posted July 23, 2016 I don't really know, but how big it is isn't really important is it? I mean it's FREE and you're gonna NEED it! Be sure to check out the tech library, and ALL associated links to learn how to fix stuff, things to check etc. here on the forum.
snyper316 Posted July 24, 2016 #13 Posted July 24, 2016 I already have the same one seen someone looking for it and tried the link and posted so it would be brought back to front to sort of say Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
dna9656 Posted July 24, 2016 #14 Posted July 24, 2016 The torque for the clutch is in the engine re-assembly page (right side lower) 3-51; 8Nm or 5.8 ft lbs.
