I think the poll should have a few more categories. Such as creature comforts, heated seat/ grips, a Bluetooth sterio with top o f the line speakers, max luggage capacity, and good lighting.

Lets also not forget butt and foot position, transmission gearing that would maximize MPGS, maybe a few power points for accessories, some nice wind management, and representation in the areas you plan to ride.. Just in case of trouble.

The touring categories have much to consider and what is right for one may not be for another. I personally try to evaluate what is important to me and then check my wallet.

There is a limit of 10 items per poll.

After a few more comments on other items, I'll create a Part III poll.

Interesting only a few people want the cassette player.

Now days I think folks want to option to connect to thier own music source. I thought at first when Yamaha on the liner bikes and Victory on the Cross just having an i-pod or MP3 hookup was kind of silly. What no radio? I thought. But now I can understand why. You can get all them functions with said devices. Honestly on a long trip my CD player comes out of the bag as I need the space.

AGREED.

And let's not forget Cruise Control. We are talking tourers. My FJR, a "sport tourer", doesn't have it???????????

The Cross Country has AM/FM, Weather band, and Aux for iPod or MP3.
