I take it you moved the post by Loren to the 1st gen questions... still shows as a post to the new member welcome.

 

Is there a way to fix the new member notice? Sometimes it doesn't include where they are from.

 

Also... was going to send it via pm or email but no option to attach a file.

I honestly don't know what you mean. I haven't moved any threads from Loren. He has made two posts so far. One was a response to the welcome message in the welcome forum. That is still there. Then he started a thread about the clutch piston in the first gen tech talk area and it is still there also.

 

As far as the location for new members. It only shows if they include that information when they register. I can't make it mandatory that they do so because it comes from a drop down list and though it lists all the US states and the Canadian provinces, it would just be too much to list every option for every country that a member might come from. In the case that you posted, Reiny likely registered without including that info. The welcome message was thus posted without it. He then went and completed his profile and added it later.
