Galapagos Posted June 15, 2013 #1 Posted June 15, 2013 Going east on RT 20 I was approaching a red light. There also happens to be an exit for the McDonalds at this intersection. I pull up an a lady is stopped to pull out of McD's. She looks right at me and pulls out. I am ten feet away. I get the bike stopped and I unloaded on her. "Why doncha just #$%^&* pull out and run me over you dumb @#%^&*!" She of course looks at me like it was my mistake. I proceed down the road when the light changes to green. Now two guys in a pickup are going to pull into Wally World. There is a high school team carwash on the corner. Two cuties are waving the sign. The dumbos decide to stop and hand her money and chat for a bit. I am on a four lane highway in a business district with no exit. If a cell phone user is texting her boyfirend or if the bimbo from McD's is riding up behind me Im a goner! I lay on the horn. The two dummies pull into the car wash. Unbelieveable. Wheres my blood pressure pills?
Evan Posted June 15, 2013 #2 Posted June 15, 2013 Don't know what to say other than I understand how frustrated you must have been and I hope your reactions did some good for the next guy.
Yammer Dan Posted June 16, 2013 #4 Posted June 16, 2013 Can't fix STUPID! :sign yeah that::sign yeah that::sign yeah that:
Trader Posted June 16, 2013 #5 Posted June 16, 2013 That is interesting news to me. As much as it is a pain....I was always told they DO have the right to use the full lane.
Mike G in SC Posted June 16, 2013 #6 Posted June 16, 2013 I just found out a few weeks ago that they can ride two wide in SC. Now how do you expect to get around two bikes doing 20 in a 45 zone. That's CRAP. What happened to SHARE THE ROAD.
BoomerCPO Posted June 16, 2013 #7 Posted June 16, 2013 There are increasing numbers of dolts on bicycles pedalling the roads of Lake Charles especially on the weekends. They do ride single-file for the most part. Those that choose to do otherwise normally end up in a deep ditch that runs alongside of the road. Boomer....who sez dem coona$$es in pickemup trucks don't have much mercy when it comes to yuppies on bicycles who thinks dey own de road.
bongobobny Posted June 16, 2013 #8 Posted June 16, 2013 Now where can I mount those RPG's on the bike???
Big Lou Posted June 16, 2013 #9 Posted June 16, 2013 if you take out radios on both sides there is room for two RPGs, and enough room for elevation too
