Marcarl Posted November 26, 2006 Share #2 Posted November 26, 2006 If you're using pin stripping with metal in it, it's not going to happen. Withput metal, so just the vinyl, make sure that the temp is 70 degrees or warmer, clean the area of application well wth a non residual cleaner (Windex?), wet the area with a water solution with a couple or drops of sunlight soap, (not much soap at all, just enough to break the water down) and then with 3 hands lay the striping down. As you go around a curve, if you're working from right to left your right thumb lays the striping down and your left thumb follows to keep it down. Pull too hard with your right hand and you'll pull the striping off, just enough tension to keep moving. The little folds created in the curve can be worked out later. Once it is down and to your liking, take a credit card and wotk the water out from under it. Leave it for a day, and Bob's your uncle. Hope this helps, if not I'll call you on the phone, but need your number.
