Just got the beast buttoned up....somethings still not quite right as the headlight bezel doesn't want to sit flat....but good enough for now. Still haven't found my other tent...I think it might be in our storage shed. If it is ...wonderful...if not I guess I'll be mini camping once again! Now.....I gotta get packed. lets see....sunscreen......sun glasses....protective hat....blanket to lay out in the sun...cool clothes and POND MONSTER REPELLENT! well ok....rain suit, extra tarp, long johns...etc etc SEE YOU SOON!
Freebird Posted June 6, 2013 #2 Posted June 6, 2013 There's room in the storage shed and also a small building inside the green house. Probably could get a few people in there. Greenhouse is a mess, didn't get around to cleaning it up but there is room.

I know it has been a cold spring here. Don has not posted the temperature of his pond....yet. I fear that the admission proceeds for this rarely featured safari will not be contributing much to any medical foundation this year. But like whale watching, you pays the boat captain before you go out.

Is the pond monster maybe afraid that what he's been bragging about all year would actually be held in contempt by all those who might otherwise be able to see such a sight? I mean you would\should know with all your scholarly knowledge and all.

I do, and thanks,....but once again, the lack of knowledge about the pond monster species demonstrated by this VR member is so typical of people who (may have) dropped out of school (at the elementary level) and is a source of never ending consternation among educators who have devoted their life and career to improving the public's awareness of this rare, beautiful beast. Anyone who has cared enough to do the most basic research on ponderistus monsteranus knows that the species is androgynous and consequently cannot be assigned a gender....like this VR member has done in his post above. That said, one must exclaim with incredulity how this VR member can even begin to speculate what any one of these rare creatures has been "bragging about all year"...gawd, the ignorance out there! Furthermore, the lack of any sightings this year, during the extremely small window when breeding does occur, may just be another piece of evidence that confirms global warming is indeed reaching tragic proportions on our planet. We all need to understand that the pond monster is just like a canary in a coal mine, so please pay attention in class, Folks!

Since I finish my physical therapy, and come back to work we didn't stop any weekend since we 're moving our Data Center to a new building. I got totally screwed this year, first the accident, then the surgery, and since I was able to go back to the office, not one weekend for myself... Not mention that still the bike is on storage, since I'm still a little wimpy.... So, I'll think on all of you this weekend. ENJOY and hope to see you all soon. Carlos :confused24:

No wonder some quit school at the elementary stage,, they were maybe smarter than those who continued in their quest to become more confused.

As I stated before I will NOT be going as Phantom Wife has a surprise Anniversary party for her sister planned. Then have to drive to Sarnia to pick up nephew's car and tow back to Woodstock. Also just got her dog out of vet after eating some stones and will have a BBBBIIIIIGGGGG Vet bill. Wish I could have been there!!!
