I emailed ScotterBob and got no reply.

I research him in the members list and no listing.

Did he disappear from the face of the earth or what.

What have you done to that cheesehead????? :missingtooth:

Last time I saw him was in Longview TX. with his small antique engines. He was there with his dad and after the show he was heading to Luckenbach TX for a beer. That was on 4/27/13

I bet he just forgot his dues as he has been busy with life. Don if he doesn't pay up soon I'll cover his membership.

It's funny you say that. Just a couple nights ago, I was looking at the forum here and my wife walked by and said, "are you sure that's not some kind of motorcycle cult you're a member of there? You sure spend a lotta time looking at that site?" She was joking of course, but I did admit to her that I have an addiction to this site, and I could never leave it. LOL.

Stopped by ScooterBob's the other night and chatted with him. He is doing well. Just spending most of his time playing with the old engines and running around to 'old engine' events. His Venture was sitting in the garage with a rather thick layer of dust on it. Ridicule ensued.

He picked up a trailer that he is redoing. It will house the engines he is taking to shows along with some drop down bunks. It will be really nice when completed.

Next time I see him I will make sure he submits his annual VR tithe and gets back up to date.

My wife is not joking when she says that but she is getting over it.:whistling: I think.

Thanks for the "Ridicule" of ScotterBob for not getting with the program.

He and You better make it to the Pork in the Pine this year.

Looking forward to see all of you or should the be "you all"? :Avatars_Gee_George::Avatars_Gee_George::Avatars_Gee_George:

that layer of dirt on his bike is normal. i dont think he believes in washing it but once a year.

I know this to be true! It does get washed, but only if it rains!!

I just got off the phone with Dan/ Ih truck guy...

He talked to scooter bob a few mins ago and bob will be back on the site in a few days, been busy with the popper motors and forgot about the dues..

All is well.

Here I am Bubber, and everyone else.

As RedRider, IH truck Guy, Playboy, and others have mentioned, we've been spending a lot of time with our new antique engine hobby. We bought a used toy hauler trailer in early April and spent most of the next two months getting it set up to haul engines and stuff to shows, unload and quickly convert to a place to live for the weekends.

As RedRider pointed out, the bike has only been out once this year, and it didn't get going fast enough to blow the dust off.

I've spent pretty much all the last 25 years being a biker. I'm not sure all the reasons why, but I just haven't really felt like riding this spring.

Others have a mid life crisis, and go buy a motorcycle. I can't do that, so I'm playing with engines twice my age instead.:confused24:

I don't see myself selling the bike any time soon. I've got the feeling that riding is deep enough in my blood that the itch to ride will return, just not sure when.

Thanks for the concern everyone, it means a lot.:thumbsup2::You_Rock_Emoticon:

Later, Scooter Bob
