XV1100SE Posted June 5, 2013 #1 Posted June 5, 2013 For those camping at Don's... I'd be interested in riding off site to get morning coffee/breakfast Saturday and Sunday. If anyone else is interested we can schedule times and place. (recommendations on where is welcomed otherwise even a McDonald's would do) Who's interested?
frogmaster Posted June 5, 2013 #2 Posted June 5, 2013 Yep, Micky D's great Coffee and affordable costs since the price of GAS is at an all time high here in the US right now.
Trader Posted June 5, 2013 #3 Posted June 5, 2013 I was only there once 2 years ago...but I seem to remember a McDonalds fairly close to Don's
ragtop69gs Posted June 5, 2013 #4 Posted June 5, 2013 I'll be camping also so meal runs sound good to me. Look for the 3x5 American flag flying off the front of my 10x10 ez-up patio tent
saddlebum Posted June 5, 2013 #5 Posted June 5, 2013 I would be interested in a breakfast run but not a fan of McDonalds. Prefer a Mom and Pop type place that does a good old fashion Bacon and eggs type breakfast

etcswjoe Posted June 5, 2013 #8 Posted June 5, 2013 Be my first year and I plan on camping so I would be happy to join in. The Mom and Pop idea sounds good to me but I can do micky dees too.
Freebird Posted June 5, 2013 #9 Posted June 5, 2013 There is also a nice little place just as you get into Oberlin. I think it's called Quick and Delicious or something like that. Very good breakfast. It's on the right before you get to McDonalds.
rickardracing Posted June 5, 2013 #10 Posted June 5, 2013 Oberlin Inn..................................yum yum. That's where I am staying. Probably eat there too!

etcswjoe Posted June 5, 2013 #12 Posted June 5, 2013 Beside breakfast anything else fisrt timers should now about the camp out?
AKRefugee Posted June 5, 2013 #14 Posted June 5, 2013 There is a all breakfast place in LaGrange about 6 or 7 min from Freebirds. Near the train tracks mom and pop type place with a fair size and price on the meals. Ride Happy, Ride Safe
XV1100SE Posted June 6, 2013 Author #15 Posted June 6, 2013 Freebird - can you recommend two places for breakfast? One for Saturday, one for Sunday. As for time to head out for breakfast... thinking Saturday around 9am... Sunday earlier for those of us getting an early start on the road... maybe 8am ?
saddlebum Posted June 6, 2013 #16 Posted June 6, 2013 I remember on the main street going towards the Oberlin Inn on the right side was a restaurant were alot of us have gone in years gone by. The food was good. the waitress's friendly and they give hugs. I just can not remember the name of it.
dogman Posted June 6, 2013 #17 Posted June 6, 2013 Beside breakfast anything else fisrt timers should now about the camp out? We usually sit around and have some drinks/shooters on the Saturday evening. Very enjoyable whether you drink or not.

On the right going into town. Then there is Michelle's in LaGrange. Haven't been there in a while but it used to be very good. Just behind McDonald's in Lagrange. dacheedah Posted June 6, 2013 #19 Posted June 6, 2013 We'd rather hit a mom and pop vs a Mickey D's personally.
