Flyinfool Posted June 4, 2013 Share #1 Posted June 4, 2013 Once again at MD I will have a supply of free plates to put under your side stand when parked on a soft surface. There may be a few bikes parked on the grass at MD. The plates are polished Stainless Steel about 4.125" diameter x 5" long, with 2 tabs . All you have to do is to find me and introduce yourself and ask for one. I have about 30 to give away to those that need or want one.

Flyinfool Posted June 4, 2013 Author Share #8 Posted June 4, 2013 They all come with a few scratches already, that way you wont have to feel bad. After all I am digging them out of a scrap barrel.
Prairiehammer Posted June 4, 2013 Share #9 Posted June 4, 2013 Jeff, Could you drill a hole in a couple so I can attach a lanyard? I have a habit of driving off and leaving them. When we were using crushed soda cans, it was no big deal, but a nice piece of stainless is something I want to keep. Currently I use a 4 inch electrical junction box cover. I attached one of those cheap coiled lanyards and it stretches to the ground from it's anchor on the chrome bar next to the radio and then slip the box cover into the knee pouch when leaving a site. But the stainless would be über cool, if it had a hole. Just sayin'.
Flyinfool Posted June 4, 2013 Author Share #10 Posted June 4, 2013 I am getting into scramble mode packing. I don't know if I'll have time to add holes. You can always add your own hole when you get home.
Prairiehammer Posted June 4, 2013 Share #11 Posted June 4, 2013 You can always add your own hole when you get home. Perhaps, but I have tried to drill stainless before and burned up some rather good drill bits. I was mostly being facetious, Jeff in my first post. Thanks for the kickstand pads.
