H. Mathews Posted June 3, 2013 #1 Posted June 3, 2013 The repair shop says my 2007 has a bad fuel pump. A friend (gen 1 rider) told me that since my venture is only 3 months past the 5 year warranty, Yamaha may have pity on me and cover the pump. He told me to go to this web site and get the warranty phone number for Yamaha. Does anyone have that special number because I was told that it is not the same as the one for customer service at the Yamaha web site. Thanks in advance. Ham
eusa1 Posted June 3, 2013 #2 Posted June 3, 2013 Have your yammaha dealer to make the request for you, they will have a better chance than a cold call from you. Mike:080402gudl_prv:
Freebird Posted June 3, 2013 #4 Posted June 3, 2013 Here you go. Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA 6555 Katella Avenue Cypress, CA 90630 Customer Relations (800) 962-7926 That is from an old post but I think should still be good. Now do NOT pay that kind of money for a fuel pump. Try to get them to warranty it but if they won't, there are automotive pumps that work just fine. Several here have done it. You can get by for under $100.00. Try to get it warrantied first though. __________________
