Picked up a spare bolt in CT

Well I went for a ride to the grocery store for Mini 10 miles one way and had to call her and have her bring me the spare rear wheel.

the tire is junk now the bolt hit the bead and tore it open

Unfortunatly the tire only had 6000 miles on it but a new one is on the way for free from the place I bought it from

bad it happend but guess it is good it didnt go boom at speed

That looks to be about the same size as the one Ediddy picked up in his rear tire a couple of years ago on our way back home from MD. We got lucky on a sunday and were able to plug it and make it all the way back to home. Small things like that can really ruin you day.

Ouch!! Scary. I need to do a rear sometime this week if I'm going to make MD but I wore mine out. Don't want to do it like that....
