muffinman Posted May 31, 2013 #1 Posted May 31, 2013 Well I went for a ride to the grocery store for Mini 10 miles one way and had to call her and have her bring me the spare rear wheel. the tire is junk now the bolt hit the bead and tore it open Unfortunatly the tire only had 6000 miles on it but a new one is on the way for free from the place I bought it from Jeff
painterman67 Posted May 31, 2013 #2 Posted May 31, 2013 bad it happend but guess it is good it didnt go boom at speed
DragonRider Posted June 1, 2013 #3 Posted June 1, 2013 That looks to be about the same size as the one Ediddy picked up in his rear tire a couple of years ago on our way back home from MD. We got lucky on a sunday and were able to plug it and make it all the way back to home. Small things like that can really ruin you day.
Squidley Posted June 1, 2013 #4 Posted June 1, 2013 Yeah, I know about blowing up rear tires at speed

Yammer Dan Posted June 1, 2013 #6 Posted June 1, 2013 Ouch!! Scary. I need to do a rear sometime this week if I'm going to make MD but I wore mine out. Don't want to do it like that....
