Anyone have a piece of rubber trim to sell me?

I jump on the bike to head into town for detergent for the sweeter half. On the way back I notice that the rubber trim between the instrument cluster and the right side speaker / coolant cover is gone, gone, gone,

Anyone have an "extra" they can sell to me?

John, I have a 83 parts bike I have been pickin away at for years, can you post a pic of the piece (dahhh, you cant do that), I mean the area that it fits so I have a good idea of what I am looking for, if I have it its yours free of charge..

I think its called a j mold and it cushions and supports the instrument cluster against the inside fairing. I lost one, and then glued them in after that.

 

I think I got the last NOS left one from Partshark 18 months ago. right after that they delisted that part.

That is exactly the part I need. I want to get the right piece, but if push comes to shove I can probably find some decent rubber type molding and make one.

And glue it in place.

Hey, my buddy needs a right side louver, the one on the fairing next to my missing rubber. I actually lost that for him before I sold him the bike.

If these darn first gens weren't so fast we would not be building up wind pressures that blow these parts out and away.

2nd Gens are so lucky they don't have to worry about such things,,,,,,,,
