Did a 1,000 mile ride over Memorial Day weekend to Rolling Thunder with some military buddies. We rode through West Virginia mountains, back country roads, and a thunder run back to Columbus, Ohio on Monday. We had one hell of a collection of bikes to include Harleys (Willie G's all to way to Electroglides), a Concourse, a Road Star, a Victory Vegas, and a Valkyre. At every fuel stop, the other riders dismounted and commenced to griping about stiff parts and sore butts. Not me!

The 2007 Venture handled all the riding conditions with class. Once I decided not to try to hang with the Concourse on the tight mountain turns in WV, my ride was perfect. Moreover, I felt that I could have ridden all day. A short rain shower - no issue. Others were soaked, my bike kept me dry in spite of not stopping to put on the rain gear. Accelerating up steep climbs - no issue! 80 mph on Route 70 - too easy!

I love this bike!!!

Hey Shmiliy, you know any Obert's over there in Columbus???

They're probably related to me ('specially south-siders...)

Unfortunately, I don't. If they're bikers, however, I'll be happy to look them up!

Just getting back from a 2243 mile ride from Birmingham Al to Abilene Tx. No sore butt here! I have been riding Ventures since 2000. On my second one now. Love Ventureland!

We also put 1,000 miles on the Venture traveling from Columbia to Washington and back. We did all interstate and cruised right on down the road. I am so glad I bought mine. I can't wait to go on another long trip!
