Pics of new radiator grill

Been pondering making my own grill for a while myself and this post reminded me to get'r done so this afternoon I picked up some material to get started on it. Pics to follow whenever its completed.

A radiator guard is a must have, I have some pretty good dents in mine and I like how yours looks like it will protect the radiator.

 

I can tell you I have gone through death valley in August on the bike after I moved here and can say I will not do it again. Thought I would take a short cut home at night it should not be that hot. LOL

Death valley even at night my temp gauge was running high and the fan I don't think shut off and it was a lot of heat blowing through the bike.

 

It would be nice in the fall and winter if all that heat would keep my legs worm coming off the radiator like it does in the summer. LOL

I'm sure that i could hear something about "BLING" said in this thread !!

Ya can't be bad mouthing the "BLING" thing on this site or telling fine folks like barry, that they need to "night train"or "bat crap" to his fastest color venture!!

As for you folks that wish to hide with your stealth colors or dull:stirthepot: finnish... I say good for you!

It makes our faster "BLING" treated machines look that much better!
