DragonRider Posted May 27, 2013 #1 Posted May 27, 2013 I now have 2 confirmed buyers for my motorcycles. It took long enuff, but its almost over. Jamie is buying my beloved 1st Gen, and Marilyn, Sarges46's wife is buying my V Star 1300. I have to say this about Marilyn, she is one tough lady she is flying down next month to pick it up and then she is going to ride it back solo all the way to Manitoba, Canada. It will be an awesome ride and one I would think twice about doing. My longest total ride in all my riding years was too Freebird's MD and back to Atlanta, that totaled a little over 1100 miles. My hat is off to her and anyone that undertakes a trip like that. I know Marylin is an accomplished rider, I saw her ride at Vogel a few years back, she is very capable of pulling this off without a problem. It will take me some time to get used to having only one bike, (trike) to ride, but I will cut my expenses down by not having to license and insure 3 bikes. I know both bikes are going to be well cared for and I am so happy they will still be in the VR family, and I am sure I will see a lot of the 1st Gen since it will be staying local to me right here in Newnan , and I am sure I will still be wrenching on it when and if it needs it..
86er Posted May 28, 2013 #2 Posted May 28, 2013 Congrats Lewis! What are you going to do with the extra room in the garage? I'm glad Jamie is get the "Silver Bullet". Do you think there's any chance he wants to make MD? I'm planning on leaving The Atl at about 6am Thu. Wish you could make it!
DragonRider Posted May 29, 2013 Author #3 Posted May 29, 2013 I doubt he can make it, the 1st gen needs a new front tire and its sitting in my garage on the jack minus front wheel. I know he would love to though. Congrats Lewis! What are you going to do with the extra room in the garage? I'm glad Jamie is get the "Silver Bullet". Guest Swifty Posted May 29, 2013 #4 Posted May 29, 2013 Jamie is buying my beloved 1st Gen, and Marilyn, Sarges46's wife is buying my V Star 1300. I don't believe it! See Todd? Jamie must still be having those wet dreams about owning a 1st Gen since we went and whumped his Goldwinged butt some years ago. And as for Marilyn...well that girl simply needs to keep stepping up the power so she can ride like Cowboy and I showed her. She's left Sarges in the dust a long time ago. Good on her.

Well, as I recall he did bow down once he caught up with us at the bottom of the Dragon Are you gonna be at MD? It would be great to see you again. (Sorry there aren't any good roads there for for me to give you a little more training!)
