camos Posted May 26, 2013 #1 Posted May 26, 2013 Looking at Sirius, they have SD1x4 diaphragms for $99.99 for 4 pieces and SD-10 for $17.99 which is each. Seems to be wrong to offer 1 piece for much less than 4 pieces. Anyone able to shed some light on this? Also, how does one get the VR.org discount?
DragonRider Posted May 26, 2013 #2 Posted May 26, 2013 All you have to do is mention that you are a VR member and they will give you the discount. They are good people, it only took about 6 days when I ordered mine. About pricing, cant help you there, when I ordered mine they were a little cheaper, I think I got them for $82.00 or somewhere in that neighborhood, my memory aint what it used to be............. utadventure Posted May 26, 2013 #3 Posted May 26, 2013 I know the sliders are a little different between the 1200 & 1300 1st Gens. The sliders for $99.99 for a set of 4 fit the 1300 (and others) and the $17.99 individual price is for the 1200. That may be your difference... Dave
Snaggletooth Posted May 26, 2013 #4 Posted May 26, 2013 The SD1X4 set is for the diaphragms only, set of four. No sliders. These are the correct ones for the 1st gen both MK1 & MKII
venture83_98 Posted May 26, 2013 #5 Posted May 26, 2013 I just inquired about the discount earlier this week. Here is the response I received from Martin: Yes but its $79.99 now and $12.50 for UPS S&H paypal only sir to paypal@siriusconinc.com and refer to 4 x SD-1 Hope this helps.
camos Posted May 27, 2013 Author #6 Posted May 27, 2013 I understand this is only the diaphragms. I know the sliders are a little different between the 1200 & 1300 1st Gens. Dave Even though the titles show a difference between the 1200 and the 1300, the Fitment lists for the SD1X4 and the SD-10 indicate they both will fit the 1300. Oh well, probably just a lazy WebMaster who pasted the same list for both of them. In any case, it looks like I need to get in touch with Martin before ordering. These are the correct ones for the 1st gen both MK1 & MKII If that is true then perhaps the SD-10 will also fit both MkI and MkII. Why does everything always have to be so complicated? Forgot to ask, what is Martin's email address?
Snaggletooth Posted May 27, 2013 #7 Posted May 27, 2013 I just used: SCI@SIRIUSCONIC.COM ATTN: Martin And he got back to me the next day
