What material used?

I have seen some pictures of what some have done to their 1st Gens. Replacing and modifying the side control panels. What material did you use for that? I am looking to do some cosmetic work, and minor fabrication. This would be for the top of the sides, where the radio sits and the air control for the suspension.

I used a piece of lexan to rework the radio opening.

i chopped out the original radio and took the amp out of the fairing, used the stock remover for the radio for easy access. and installed a marine plate its very clean when closed and does an awesome job keeping the rain off the deck. i also ran an antenna for the XM onto the trunk. used some textured black plastic to fill the voids.

 

only material used was black textured plastic and Norton plastic epoxy
