pmelah Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 ok here is what i got or get and i dont know if im doing this right i check my leads from the plu to the tci to # 1 2 3 4 coil red lead to power # 1 pin and black lead to pin 2 and get a reading of 22.4 ohms on 200k setting black lead on pin 3 reads 24.2 pin 6 29.6 pin 7 22.7 i get the same readings with red lead on pin 1 and black lead to each plug boot cap can some one tell me what im doing and if it wrong because i cant get any of my coils to read 2.7 ohs on any setting

bongobobny Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Are you disconnecting the coils from the wiring harness? Is the battery in your meter fresh? I seem to remember something about the test procedure using an old analog meter movement as opposed to a digital movement. Try a different meter as well...
