M61A1MECH Posted May 24, 2013 #2 Posted May 24, 2013 This would be just perfect for those situations, just fit the bike with a couple of mercury switches that trip the Trunk Monkey if the bike gets pushed over. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8avOiTUcD4Y]Trunk Monkey Compilation - YouTube[/ame]
ragtop69gs Posted May 24, 2013 #3 Posted May 24, 2013 This would be just perfect for those situations, just fit the bike with a couple of mercury switches that trip the Trunk Monkey if the bike gets pushed over. That wouldn't work for Miles new bike, it doesn't have a trunk.
Snaggletooth Posted May 24, 2013 #4 Posted May 24, 2013 Trunk Monkey Thanks for posting that. Haven't seen those in years.
Barrycuda Posted May 24, 2013 Author #5 Posted May 24, 2013 That wouldn't work for Miles new bike, it doesn't have a trunk. no trunk but he can be hiding in one of the saddle bags:rotf:
GolfVenture Posted May 25, 2013 #6 Posted May 25, 2013 Hotels just needs to make the room doors wider so motorcycles can be put in side.
djh3 Posted May 25, 2013 #7 Posted May 25, 2013 Hmm thanks Barry. Might have to look into that when its time for me to replace.
Miles Posted May 25, 2013 #8 Posted May 25, 2013 Hotels just needs to make the room doors wider so motorcycles can be put in side. In the OLD days:backinmyday:, when motorcycles did not come with a factory fairing or factory saddlebags, like my Norton 850 or my Triumph 750's, we really did push them into the motel room at night. No kidding. Just had to make certain we turned the fuel petcock off, so the carbs didn't drip fuel all night.

icebrrg3rd Posted May 28, 2013 #10 Posted May 28, 2013 I know what is needed! Spike strips! A fold-out parking lot space size rectangle that causes flats to anyone who pulls too close to your bike. Do some damage to those who try and damage your vehicle. -Andrew
Trader Posted May 28, 2013 #11 Posted May 28, 2013 That cover wouldn't work for Miles...you have to wait for the bike to cool down before using it. By that time, Miles is back on the road!
playboy Posted May 28, 2013 #12 Posted May 28, 2013 He could always stick a pillow where the trunk should be pull the cover over and take a nap. Whats a few more hours in the saddle going to hurt.
